SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — If you bought fish sticks or breaded chicken cutlets from Price Chopper recently, you may want to check the labels.
The supermarket has issued two voluntary recalls for products it claims have incomplete nutritional information.
Labels on Gourmet Boutique breaded Italian chicken cutlets and High Liner Foods 18-piece Price Chopper fish sticks sold throughout the company’s 136 Price Chopper locations fail to mention the foods may contain milk, posing a safety risk to people who are lactose intolerant or have other dairy allergies.
The company said the foods do not pose any other safety risk, and should be harmless to people without milk allergies.
The chicken was sold from Feb. 6 to June 9 with code 22609-7000. The fish sticks have a product code of 41735 03402.
People who bought the affected products can bring them back to their local Price Chopper for a full refund, according to the company.
